1.  A good name is hard to find
2. Sustaining a good name takes work
3. Expressing your needs and concerns when necessary can become a frustrating venture
4. You hate telling people what you want yourself
5. You dislike people telling other people who you are and what you want

These are some of the reasons I can think of when we think Public Relations. I found out the hard way that people have a habit of telling other people who you are and usually that assessment is incorrect.

Telling the story the right way is what Public Relations can do for you, getting new word out is what marketing can do for you. Getting others to tell others who received the marketing information what is going on is what promotion is all about. Guess that is it in a nutshell.
